If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, optional phone number and message you submit.

If you arrived via a campaign link (for example sdevdigital.co.uk/fb/riverside-farm), we also receive that path so we know which conversation the enquiry came from.

If you email or call us directly, we receive whatever you choose to share in that conversation.

We use cookieless analytics (PostHog, in the EU) to understand how the site is used: pages viewed, time on the page, which buttons are clicked, and which campaign link was opened. Your browser sends those events to this website first; we then pass them to PostHog. It does not set advertising cookies, does not record your session, and does not store a lasting identity in your browser. PostHog creates a privacy-preserving hash on its servers from technical details such as IP address and browser type; that hash changes each day and is not used to identify you by name.

We use enquiry details only to respond to you — for example to arrange a Digital Opportunity Audit or answer a question about our services.

We use analytics only to improve this website and to see which outreach links lead to genuine interest. That is a legitimate interest in running this site — not advertising or profiling you as a person. We will not add you to a funding-updates or marketing list unless you clearly ask us to.

Form submissions are sent through Web3Forms, which emails the message to us. Web3Forms acts as a processor on our behalf for that delivery.

Usage events are sent through this website to PostHog in the EU, which processes them on our behalf. Routing them via our domain does not change that: PostHog is still a processor, and we do not send your name, email, phone number or message to PostHog.

We then handle your enquiry from our own mailbox.

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is useful to the conversation and our ordinary business records, then delete or archive it when it is no longer needed.

Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where appropriate.

To do any of that, email chris@sdevdigital.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
